Will the asphalt sealer fill cracks and holes ?

No ,the asphalt sealer is a " paint like " liquid that dries on top of the pavement surface. The asphalt sealer provides a barrier of protection from the weather and also from petro chemicals leaking from vehicles.

Why is silica sand added to the asphalt sealer?

Silica sand provides a ruff texture to the pavement surface. This is beneficial on rainy days providing extra surface traction. for vehicles and pedestrians.

Can extra silica sand be added to the sealer to fill cracks ?

No , the purpose of adding silica sand is to provide a ruff surface to the pavement surface, Damaged areas of asphalt can be repaired by patching using plant mix hot asphalt.

What is the difference between sealcoating and resurfacing ?

As mentioned above sealcoating is a paint like liquid that protects the pavement. Resurfacing entails adding a new layer of plant mix hot asphalt to the existing pavement surface.

Do I need to sealcoat my resurfaced parking lot ?

Yes, once the asphalt has cured it is very important to protect your new investment. The asphalt sealer will provide a barrier of protection from the weather and oils dripping from vehicles which over time erode the asphalt.

How is a busy parking lot seal coated ?

We will perform the work in sections and coordinate a traffic flow plan with you to allow for use of the parking lot while under repairs.

Do you work weekends and holidays ?

Yes , we work weekends at no additional charge. If you are interested in having your project completed on a holiday please call for more details.

We use Neyra Tarconite Asphalt Sealer with Neyra Armorflex Epoxy Fortifier Additive.
